Election Day 2016: Hillsborough Favors Clinton Over Trump

Hillary Clinton received roughly 1,000 more votes than Donald Trump in Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Taking a deeper look at the voter turnout in Hillsborough it shows that voters favored Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.

A total of 20,689 votes were cast out of the 28,344 registered voters in town, which accounted to 65.62%.

Hillsborough voters turned down both question one and two. Question one received 4,051 yes votes to 14,622 no votes. Yet voters barely approved question two with 8,976 yes votes and 9,518 no votes.

In the Presidential election, Hillsborough favored Clinton over Trump.

Clinton received 10,134 votes while Trump got 9,275 followed by Johnson with 574 votes.
