In its 12th year, the annual Hillsborough Hop is is a 5K road race with a starting line at the Hillsborough Famiily YMCA. It traditionally attracts hundreds of runners as well as spectators who line the route and cheer them on. This fun community event is also for a good cause. The proceed benefit the YMCA's Strong Kids fund, which provides financial assistance to community members who otherwise could not afford Y programs that gve them a path to healthier living.
