Photojournalist Jim LaSala will host a presentation of his personal experience of his trips to Haiti at the Gallery at 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m. The event will be a heartwarming story of the hope that continues to exist after the devastating 7.0 earthquake on January 12, 2010. This photographic experience will shed light on the limited resources these families live with on a day-to-day basis...yet smiles embrace their existence. The gratefulness of the people he met is a story to be told, as well as one to be shared with our children.
In addition to your donations, there will be prints & books available for purchase to help support his efforts. A portion of the proceeds will go to the One Heart for Haiti fund, a non-profit organization driven, dedicated and determined to provide every child in Grand Vincent, the “gift of hope”.
