Arbor Day Program for Families

A special Arbor Day Celebration will be held at Duke Farms for children ages 8 and up, along with their parents from 9 am to 12:30 pm.  The program will teach participants about trees and will have a hands-on opportunity to pitch in and help with habitat restoration activities.  New Jersey's native trees, the important role that they play in the environment and how they benefit both humans and wildlife will be discussed.  There will be a tree care demonstration and attendees will by invited to help plant native species.  Space is limited and advanced registration is required.  Register online or contact 908-722-3700.
