Essex County 35th Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from April 9 to April 17, 2011 at Branch Brook Park. Festival activities include a bike race, a children's fun run, a race for the disabled, the 10k cherry blossom run, a photography workshop, a free lecture series and the daylong Bloomfest Celebration. Trolley Tours will also be available. The park has over 360 acres and over 3,000 cherry trees. Check daily activities schedule at www.branchbrookpark.org.
