Have you ever wondered how much that family heirloom in the attic is worth? Here’s your chance to find out if you have a family treasure or just an item that brings you fond memories. Emeritus at Hillsborough, an assisted living and memory care community, welcomes you and your family to join us for a festive Antique Appraisal event on Saturday, June 25th from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. Refreshments will be provided.
Emeritus has partnered with two expert licensed antiquities dealers to host the event. Douglas DeFreitas has over 30 years experience and is the Staff Appraiser at Somerville Center and the Antiques Emporium in Somerville. Douglas Reeder has appraised for several museums including the Newark and Morristown Museums as well as the Museum of Modern Art. He has appeared on the TV program Antiques Roadshow and is presently the appraiser at Elysium Antiques Center in Somerville. Please bring 1 item to be appraised. Additional parking will be available at our neighbors on either side of our community, JK Design and Claremont Towers.
