Fallen Heros Coin Collection

Beginning this weekend the Jr. Raiders are starting a MyThankYouCoins campaign to help raise money for the American Fallen Warrior Memorial Foundation.  The mission of the American Fallen Warrior Memorial Foundation is to honor, preserve and protect the legacies of all Fallen Warriors who have given their lives in the Gulf War, Operations Desert Storm, Operation Desert Shield, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom and all peripheral operations in the war on Terror. We will do this by building a Memorial that will contain photo plaques displaying the faces of every serviceman or woman who has given his or her life in the service of defending and protecting our country, including PTSD/suicides from the Gulf War to the present date.

 Our secondary mission is to educate the children of a Grateful Nation about the sacrifices being made to protect our freedoms.  Educating our youth is essential to ensuring that their sacrifice will not be forgotten.  We believe that we must preserve the legacies of these brave men and women and teach the value of remembering their sacrifices. 

 We have set our goal at $1000 to be collected the next two weeks ending on October 6^th. This is an ambitious goal and we need your help to spread the word. To help explain why this is important and to reach young as well as old we have provided additional links to information and activities to help all understand more about this subject. Jr Raiders is putting particular focus on the AFWMF secondary mission of educating the children of a Grateful Nation.  We encourage you to visit the website to view, download and use many of the documents located in the MyThankYouCoins folder.
