The Printmaking Center of NJ will host a fun filled afternoon printing rubber fish for children in grades K to 5 in Program Room A at 3 p.m. Students will examine the historical qualities unique to Gyotaku Fish Printing. After a discussion on how fish printing was developed and why it was used, participants will create their own fish print using a rubber fish, block printing ink, and rice paper. They will then glue it to a background and add their own artistic elements.
