Sing Along with MGM's The Wizard of Oz & Exhibition

For years the now grown up children in Midge Guerrera’s extended family called her Auntie M.  Was it because her name is “Midge” or because they all adored her incredible Wizard of Oz collection?  Every Christmas instead of elves and twinkle lights, the Flagtown home of Midge Guerrera and her husband Jack Huber was transformed into Ozian splendor.  Now that Huber is retired and the couple wants to travel more, Guerrera has decided it was time to let the world of OZ find other homes.  As a fundraiser for the production company, Theater to Go, Guerrera will be exhibiting her collection at a special family sing-along of the classic film “The Wizard of Oz” at Mercer County Community College’s Kelsey Theatre.

This interactive presentation will take place on Friday, August 3 at 7 p.m.; Saturday, August 4 at 7 p.m.; and Sunday, August 5 at 2 p.m.  Kelsey Theatre is located on the college’s West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.  Guerrera’s collection which includes vintage books, recordings, Barbie dolls, Madam Alexander dolls, photo’s, puzzles, Oz Pez dispensers, Oz Uno, board games, ornaments, dishes, life size cutouts, vintage tins and lots more will be on display at the Friday and Saturday performances before the film begins and during intermission.
