Fatal I-78 Crash Claims Life Of Hillsborough Man
The crash was reported in Warren late Monday night after a pickup truck left the road, hit several trees and overturned, said police.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough man died following a crash on Interstate 78 East late on Monday night in Warren, said New Jersey State Police Sgt. Philip Curry.
Sebastian Hofmann, a 27-year-old man of Hillsborough, was identified as the fatal victim.
At around 10 p.m. on Feb. 13, a Tesla and a Dodge pickup truck were driving east on I-78 when the Doge hit the back of the Tesla, according to a preliminary investigation.

As a result of the impact, the Tesla crossed the roadway to the left and struck a metal guardrail.
The Dodge, being driven by Hofmann, ran off the road to the left and struck several trees and overturned, said Curry.

Hofmann was ejected and had fatal injuries, said Curry.
The crash remains under investigation and there is no additional information available.
