"Many business owners often ask why they have to get their sprinklers inspected by an approved company, and why those same records get checked when the fire inspector comes. This is the why, and the sprinkler system did exactly what it was intended to do. No one was hurt, and the business owner (and surrounding businesses) had significantly less damage to their business than what potentially could have happened without a sprinkler," according to the Hillsborough Township Fire District.
In addition to the Hillsborough Police Department, the following fire companies and agencies responded: Hillsborough Fire Stations 10, 36, 37, 38, and 48, Somerset County Hazmat, Robert Wood Johnson EMS, Hillsborough Bureau of Fire Safety, Hillsborough OEM, Hillsborough Twp., and the Hillsborough Twp. Building Department.
