Crawl Space Fire In Hillsborough Home Closes Valley Road
The fire is not considered suspicious but remains under investigation.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A fire in a crawl space of a Hillsborough home caused Valley Road to close on Tuesday.
On April 16 at around 3:44 p.m., the Hillsborough Township Police and Firefighters went to 15 Valley Road and saw a small amount of smoke coming from the crawl space access, said Hillsborough Police Sgt. Christopher Giraldi.
Firefighters extinguished the fire which was contained to insulation.

The fire is not considered suspicious but remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the Hillsborough Township Bureau of Fire Safety.
The home had very minor damage and was deemed habitable by the Hillsborough Township Building Department.
