1 Resident Escapes Kitchen Fire In Somerset County
The fire broke out at a home around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
MANVILLE, NJ — A resident was able to escape after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a Manville home on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out around 3:30 p.m. in the area of Fable Avenue and King Street in Manville.

Initially the call came in as a person trapped in the burning house. But when firefighters arrived the resident was able to escape.
Firefighters who first arrived were able to hold the fire to the kitchen with minor extension, according to Station 37 Fire.
