Kitchen Fire Sparks At Hillsborough Condo
The fire was reported in a two-story condo in Hillsborough around 3:40 p.m. on Thursday.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A kitchen fire in Hillsborough caused residents to evacuate on Thursday.
On Sept. 5 at around 3:35 p.m., the Hillsborough Township Police Department went to 370 Gemini Drive Unit 2 for a fire inside the residence.
Hillsborough Township Police Units saw heavy smoke coming from inside of the residence, said Hillsborough Police Corporal Michael A. Laboy.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, which was discovered to have originated in the kitchen, said Laboy.
The fire was contained only in the kitchen of the residence.

The residents were evacuated at the time of the fire and no injuries were sustained. The fire is not considered suspicious but remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the Hillsborough Township Bureau of Fire Safety.
