Brush Fire Spreads To House In Hillsborough
Firefighters battled a brush fire that spread to a house in Hillsborough on Friday afternoon.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Firefighters battled a brush fire that spread to a house in Hillsborough on Friday afternoon.
The first alarm brush fire was reported just before 12:30 p.m. on Newell Street before it spread to the exterior of a home.
"Units were able to quickly knockdown the fire before it spread to the interior of the home, and district firefighters operated for approximately one hour checking for extension and hot spots before clearing the scene," Hillsborough Station 37 reported.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
