Firefighters Knock Out Blaze, Limiting Damage To Montgomery Home

Montgomery, Hillsborough, and Rocky Hill fire departments all came to help on Sunday night.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish a house fire in Montgomery on Sunday night.

At 6:30 p.m., fire companies in Montgomery Township were called for a possible house fire at 299 Bridgepoint Road.

As a result of multiple 911 calls, a 1st alarm box was transmitted, prompting fire departments from Hillsborough and Rocky Hill to also come out.

Montgomery and Rocky Hill firefighters found an outside fire extending to the attic and "went right to work, quickly knocking the fire down, limiting damage to the structure,"according to Flagtown Fire/Rescue - Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co. #1.
