Flemington Salvation Army Offers Gently Used Winter Coats

Free Winter Coats Will be Available for Those in Need

Flemington, NJ (November 27, 2017) – The Salvation Army’s Flemington Corps will have gently used coats for those in need available from December 1st through the end of January. The coats come as part of a partnership through “Our Burlington.” The coats will be available for pick-up during regular business hours at The Salvation Army’s Flemington Corps located at 40 E. Main St., Flemington, NJ. A range of sizes are available and will be offered on a first-come first served basis, without appointment through January 31st.

“Winter coats are a necessary staple in New Jersey,” said Lieutenant Amanda Boynton, The Salvation Army Flemington Corps Co-Officer. “We hope those in Hunterdon County are prepared for the colder weather and able to keep their families warm with these coats.”

“We love receiving donations like these, because they serve a very real and important need in our community,” said Lieutenant Adam Boynton, The Salvation Army Flemington Corps Co-Officer. “It’s amazing to be able to fulfill that need and provide coats for our neighbors in need.”

While the coats are gently used, it is suggested that they be washed or cleaned by the recipient.
