Former Hillsborough Vice Principal Appointed At Angelo L. Tomaso School

Warren, NJ -- Warren Township School District has a new principal.

Christine L. Smith will serve as Angelo L. Tomaso School's new principal beginning on July 1.

Smith was appointed by the Board of Education at its June 6 meeting. She is currently the principal of Memorial Middle School in Spotswood.

Smith will succeed Kathryn Bond, who retires at the end of the month after 18 years with the district, 11 years as ALT principal and 7 as dean of students at Warren Middle School.

Growing up in Somerset County, Smith has 13 years of educational experience.

She served as general education teacher, academic support teacher and interventionist at Village Elementary School in Montgomery Township before assuming a supervisory role in Hillsborough Township in September 2011 as Vice Principal of Auten Road Intermediate School.

Smith became principal at Memorial Middle School, where she also serves as District Anti-Bullying Coordinator, in July 2014.

I’m eager to establish my part within this community!”
