Franklin Man Had Over 200 Child Abuse Videos, Images: US Attorney

Authorities found 149 videos and 92 images of child sexual abuse on Lomere T. Walls' computer and phone, authorities report.

FRANKLIN, NJ — A Franklin man was charged with getting more than 200 videos and pictures of child sexual abuse, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito announced.

Lomere T. Walls, 27, of Franklin Park pleaded guilty to an indictment charging him with one count of receipt of child pornography.

Walls admitted to actively searching for child pornography videos and images, which he then saved on his computer, Carpenito said.

Walls installed a file sharing program on his computer several years ago to download videos and images of child sexual abuse, according to documents filed in this case and statements made in court.

Authorities downloaded dozens videos of child pornography from Walls’ computer between July and November of 2016 and found 149 videos and 92 images of child sexual abuse on Walls’ computer and phone, according to the report.

Walls could face up to 20 years in prison with a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. He will also be required to register as a sex offender.

Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 5.
