The Shoe Expert Difference

Most parents head to the local big name shoe retailers for their back to school shoes. However, most big name stores don't train their employees on how to measure feet. Often, parents pick the shoes and ask the employee for the size they think their child is wearing. Many times people don't even measure each time they buy new shoes.

Pain is Not Normal

Shoes don't typically require a "break in" period. If they are uncomfortable when you try them on, they're never going to be comfortable. While we suggest wearing shoes around the house before you wear them all day outside, they should feel good from the start. If your child complains they hurt, even after you get home, they probably don't fit correctly.

Check With an Expert

If your child is complaining their feet hurt, even after you get them new shoes, get them to a doctor.
