Garage Fire Likely Sparked By Electrical In Hillsborough
The fire broke out in the township on Wednesday in the early evening.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough firefighters battled a garage fire on Wednesday.
The fire was reported at around 4:14 p.m. on Jan. 25 at 28 Brook Drive, according to Hillsborough Police.
Police and firefighters found smoke coming from the garage of the home. Firefighters ventilated the garage and the home.

The home was unoccupied at the time of the call and there were no injuries, said police.
An investigation determined the fire was likely electrical and was not considered suspicious. The
incident remains under investigation by the Hillsborough Township Police Department and
Hillsborough Township Bureau of Fire Safety.
