Route 206 Reopens After Gas Leak In Montgomery

Route 206 North and South were closed In Montgomery Township on Thursday. The highway has since reopened.

MONTGOMERY, NJ — Route 206 North and South to has reopened following a gas leak in Montgomery on Thursday. The highway reopened as of 10:45 a.m.

The highway initially closed from Route 518 to Cherry Valley Road, said police in an alert around 8:30 a.m.

A gas line was struck on Route 206. Police and Fire personnel were on the scene to direct traffic around the temporary road closure.
