GIGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center of Hillsborough Grand Opening of their new BIGGER Facility

September 12, 2017 (Hillsborough) --GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center of Hillsborough is moving. On Sunday, September 24th they will hold a Grand Opening at their new bigger home, 450 Amwell
Road with a celebratory ribbon cutting alongside many of their families and participants.

“I am so thrilled that due to the generosity of the New Jersey community GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough is growing and expanding, “ said Erin Morris, the founder and President of the Hillsborough location. GiGi’s Playhouse of Hillsborough opened its’ doors to the community on January 11, 2015. Since that day we have welcomed over 300 families from throughout New Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania who have made us a part their lives. As the only location in New Jersey, we have made a lifetime commitment to offer support from diagnosis through adulthood, to build confidence, and to send a global message of acceptance for all, while changing the way the world sees Down syndrome.

Morris said, “by moving into this new and larger facility we are able to expand our FREE therapeutic, educational and social programming to service the Down syndrome community even more.” Today, GiGi’s Playhouse offers over 20 different programs for individuals with Down syndrome that range in age from newborn to adults. All programs are offered free of charge to our families and they are coordinated and run by our trained volunteers.

“I couldn’t be more proud of the hard work of everyone who has made this possible so we can continue to offer more opportunities for our program participants to achieve their highest potential, “ says Morris.

The Grand Opening Celebration and ribbon cutting will take place between 2-4PM at 450 Amwell Road, suite H, it is open to the entire Hillsborough Community.
