Grant Applications Open For Hillsborough Non-Profit Groups
Hillsborough-based non-profit groups have until Oct. 12 to apply to receive grants from the Credit Card Rewards Program.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Nonprofit, senior or youth organizations can apply now to receive grants up to $2,000 funded through the Hillsborough Township Credit Card Rewards Program.
Grant applications can be found on the Township website at www.hillsboroughnj.org or copies are available at the Administration Office. Completed applications must be submitted by Wednesday, Oct. 12 to the Administration office to be considered for eligible grant funding.
To date, the Hillsborough Rewards Program has awarded nearly $50,000 in grants to community based non-profit organizations that serve Township youth and seniors, according to Deputy Mayor and Liaison to the Credit Card Advisory Committee Carl Suraci.

Card users of the Hillsborough Reward Visa Card receive a point for every dollar spent which they can then redeem at a future time for various reward options such as cash back, gift cards, merchandise and much more.
In addition, a percentage of the card usage amount is returned to the Hillsborough Credit Card trust fund, where it is distributed to various Township nonprofit senior citizen groups and youth organizations through the grant application process.

Residents can apply for the Hillsborough Rewards Visa credit card by visiting the Affinity Federal Credit Union or online at www.affinityfcu.com/hillsborough.
