Heather O’Steen Named Director, Client Services

Professional Management Associates, LLC (PMA) is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather O’Steen to Director, Client Services.  Heather will use her years of professional experience to provide PMA’s clients with strategic direction and guidance in effective association management and integrated marketing campaigns. 

“We’re very lucky to have Heather as a member of our team and this promotion results from her record of association leadership and vision.” said Joanne Cole, Managing Member of PMA.  “In her 6 years with PMA, Heather has demonstrated her ability to navigate tough challenges and to lead groundbreaking initiatives. In addition, Heather has been selected by the American Association of Feline Practitioners as their Executive Director and CEO, effective immediately.” 

Heather O’Steen previously served as Senior Manager, Client Services at PMA and Assistant Executive Director at AAFP. In her new role as Executive Director of AAFP, Heather will channel her professional experience within the areas of association management, strategic direction, governance, organizational leadership, general operations, and implementation of the association’s policies. In addition to working directly with the Board of Directors, Heather serves as spokesperson for the association and is responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with allied associations, organizations, and industry, in addition to spearheading their marketing and communications programs.   Heather has been instrumental in the outstanding growth of AAFP programs, including the addition of new programs and key industry initiatives.

Prior to joining PMA, Heather was Head Client Case Manager/Operations Manager for homeless families in Somerset County, NJ where she managed clients in Emergency Shelter, Transitional Facilities and Permanent Housing for the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Somerset County.

Heather graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Community Services with a Concentration in Human Services. She completed the Certificate Program in Association Management, and is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and the American Society of Veterinary Medical Association Executives (ASVMAE).
