More Than 200 Child Porn Images Found On Hillsborough 18-Year-Old's Devices: Police
Police say Siddh B. Shah, 18, of Hillsborough, was also selling child porn images through social media apps.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough 18-Year-Old was charged after police say they found more than 200 images of child pornography on his devices.
Siddh B. Shah, 18, of Winding Way in Hillsborough was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography with intent to distribute and third-degree possession of child pornography, said Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson.
An investigation by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations/Computer Crimes Unit began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported images of child pornography were being uploaded online.

The investigation found that Shah was suspected of uploading numerous sexually explicit images and videos of children under the age of 18, said Robertson.
On Sept. 30 at about 6:30 a.m., Somerset County Prosecutor’s Detectives, along with members of the Hillsborough Township Police Department and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security went to Shah's home and seized electronic devices including computers for further computer forensic examination, said Robertson.

The devices were found to have more than 200 images depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of a child, said Robertson.
Shah was also found to be selling files of sexual exploitation of children on social media applications, said Robertson.
Shah was arrested without incident at his home on Sept. 30. He was take to the Somerset County Jail where he will remain pending a detention hearing in this matter.
