Hillsborough Awarded $4,200 T-Mobile Hometown Grant

Hillsborough was one of more than 500 towns across America that applied for the grant and was only one of 25 chosen for the funding.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough was chosen as the recipient of a $4,200 T-Mobile Hometown Grant.

The township will use the funds to help launch the Arts in the Parks program at Ann Van Middlesworth Park, creating 15 sidewalk art panels with the collaboration of the community.

"Hillsborough Township is honored that T-Mobile has selected our Arts in the Parks program for funding. These funds will allow the opportunity to expand on creativity, collaboration, and community involvement for years ahead. We deeply acknowledge the generosity T-Mobile has presented in helping Hillsborough Township make an idea come to life," said Mayor Shawn Lipani.

This grant program is administered by T-Mobile to invest in the growth and development of communities throughout the country. Hillsborough was one of more than 500 towns across America that applied for the grant, and was only one of 25 chosen for the funding.
