Hillsborough Baseball League (HBL) 2019 Registration is open!

The Hillsborough Baseball League (HBL) is an independent, non-profit youth organization serving the community of Hillsborough, NJ since 1955. Our organization is sustained by the dedication of our members who volunteer their time as managers, coaches, team parents, board members, committee members and concession stand staff. We currently offer both recreational and competitive baseball programs and we are proud members of the Babe Ruth Baseball League.

HBL offers recreational baseball programs throughout the spring season. Our goal is to provide an environment where all children can develop their baseball skills while having a fun experience being part of a team. During the 2018 spring season we had over 500 children from over 450 families on teams from ages 5 through 18. Through our Buddy League, we also provide one of the area's only baseball leagues for mentally and physically challenged youths. Managers and coaches of all teams are expected to provide proper instruction and guidance while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship and fun.

The Cost per Program:
The cost per-player is based on the league that the player is registered for, as follows:

  • Introduction: Rookie Raiders - free
  • Tee Ball: Farm - free
  • Tee Ball: Colonial - $225
  • Instructional: Pioneer - $225
  • Minors: Rookie and Cactus - $250
  • Majors & Babe Ruth: Gulf, Junior/Senior - $275
  • Graduate - $150
