Hillsborough Board of Education Announces Forum Dates to Discuss District's Five Year Plan

District is seeking community participation and input during strategic planning process

The Hillsborough Board of Education will host a series of four public strategic planning forums to help in the development of the district’s five-year strategic plan. Parents, staff members, students, community members and business owners are encouraged to attend to provide input to ensure that there is a diverse and varied community representation involved as the plan is shaped.

Priorities and future goals for the Hillsborough Board of Education and how they can be attained will be discussed. The forum dates are as follows:

  • Tuesday, October 6, 7:00pm in the Auten Road Intermediate School Cafeteria
  • Wednesday, October 21, 7:00pm in the Auten Road Intermediate School Cafeteria
  • Wednesday, November 18, 7:00pm in the Auten Road Intermediate School Cafeteria
  • Tuesday, December 8, 7:00pm in the Auten Road Intermediate School Cafeteria -- Data Planning Session

Each public planning session will last approximately 90 minutes and interested community members may attend one, two, three or all meetings. Discussion at the meetings will focus on district direction, resources, priorities and focus. The strategic planning steering committee will take public input from these meeting and use it to help finalize the district’s strategic plan.
