Hillsborough BOE To Hire 'Short-Term' Athletic Director
The status of long-term Hillsborough Township Athletic Director Michael Fanizzi is currently unconfirmed.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Township Board of Education will be voting on a short term athletic director for the district during its Monday night meeting.
The status of long-term Hillsborough Township Athletic Director Michael Fanizzi is unconfirmed. Fanizzi has served as the athletic director for the past 15 years.
When asked about his status with the district, school spokeswoman Kia Bergman said, "Hillsborough Board of Education will not comment on personnel matters."

The Monday night agenda item asks that the board approve Michael Davis to serve as "Supervisor of Health and Physical Education, Hillsborough Middle School, short term athletic director, district, effective December 20, 2017 not to exceed 24 days. Stipend $1,000 per month pro rated for partial months."
The board of education meeting will be held at Auten Road Intermediate School Cafetorium, 281 Auten Road, starting at 7:30 p.m.
