Hillsborough College And Career Fair To Be Held Wednesday

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — All local and neighboring high school students and parents are invited to the 14th Annual College and Career Fair on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Hillsborough High School Gymnasium, 466 Raider Blvd., Hillsborough.

A college financial aid presentation will also be held prior to the fair from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Hillsborough High School Auditorium. Kristen Isaksen, Associate Director of Financial Aid at Monmouth University, will discuss the basics of applying for financial aid, the FAFSA process, and the various types of aid available to students.

The fair will include representatives from more than 160 colleges, universities, career/trade programs, and military organizations.

Nearby schools such as Rutgers University, Raritan Valley Community College, Penn State University, and University of Delaware as well as locations further away such as Virginia Tech, Duke University, University of Arizona, and even University College Dublin (Ireland) will be in attendance.

There will also be people to answer questions regarding apprenticeships and careers in such fields as HVAC, medical/dental assistant, electronic systems technology, massage therapy, and more.
