Hillsborough Committee, School Board Unofficial Election Results For 2022
See the results for both the Hillsborough Township Committee and the Board of Education elections.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The polls have closed and the unofficial results are in for a contested Hillsborough Township Committee and Board of Education race.
Republicans John Ciccarelli and Robert Britting won over Ronald Yoder and Erynn Murray for two township committee seats, according to unofficial results by the Somerset County Clerk.

For the school board, Joel E. Davis, Danny Lee, and Jean Trujillo won over Thomas J. Zobele and Josh Gamse for the three open contested seats, according to unofficial results.

Township Committee
There are four candidates running for two open seats.
- Erynn Murray - Democrat - 5,555
- Robert Britting - Republican* - 6,194
Hillsborough Township Board of Education
There are five candidates running for three, three-year open seats.
- Joel E. Davis - 5,379
- Thomas J. Zobele - 3,216
- Danny Lee - 5,822
- Josh Gamse - 3,969
- Jean Trujillo* - 4,661
There is also one, two-year unexpired seat up for grabs. This seat is unopposed.
- Jane M. Staats - 7,615
100 percent of the districts have reported their results, according to the Somerset Couty Clerk.
However, these initial tallies do not represent the final election outcome. Mail-in ballots can still arrive by Nov. 14. A final certification of the results must be done by November 26.
