Hillsborough Company Ranked One of the 'Best Places to Work' in NJ

It was the only Hillsborough-based company to make the list.

Hillsborough, NJ -- One Hillsborough non-profit made NJ Biz’s 2016 list of “Best Places to Work in New Jersey,” released Friday.

Duke Farms were selected in the category of small- to medium-sized businesses. It was the only Hillsborough business to make the list.

What makes an employer one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey? “One (thing) that all of these honorees have in common is a dedication to their employees’ professional growth and quality of life,” writes NJ Biz.

Employees at companies filled out surveys on their workplace well-being, NJ Biz said, along with an employer benefits and policies questionnaire. Each survey consisted of 78 statements that employees respond to on a five-point agreement scale. The survey also includes two open-ended questions and seven demographic questions.

Participating companies paid an assessment fee ranging from $690 to $1,770.
