Hillsborough Cop Honored For Quick Actions To Save Student's Life
Officer Tiana Ramos arrived first at Auten Road School to help a 14-year-old who fainted and later became unresponsive.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Police Officer Tiana Ramos was honored for her quick actions to save a 14-year-old student's life.
Ramos was nominated and selected for the Heroism Award at the 2024 New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement Conference in Freehold.
"Congratulations, to local hero and Pride of Hillsborough - Officer Ramos!" according to Hillsborough Township, New Jersey.

On Jan. 7, 2023, Ramos went to Auten Road School for the report of a 14-year-old who fainted and later became unresponsive.
While driving to the school, responding units were told that no EMS was available. Ramos arrived on the scene within 1 minute and began CPR on the child, according to the Hillsborough PBA 205.

Hillsborough Officers arrived and continued life-saving efforts.
"The child made a full recovery thanks to the quick life-saving actions of Office Ramos. Congratulations Officer Ramos!!" said Hillsborough PBA 205.
