Hillsborough Daughter Has Mom Of The Year
Hillsborough daughter shares her mom's amazing story on why she believes she is "Mom Of The Year."

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Last week we asked you to nominate a mother who you feel should be Hillsborough Patch's Mom Of The Year in honor of Mother's Day.
Daughter Danielle Capezio of Hillsborough nominated her mother Laura Mazur and shared her amazing story.
"My mom is very special. She is not only special to me, she is special to everyone around her. She is a mom to me, a best friend to me and a hero to me. As a child I only remember happy times with her. Her and my dad made my childhood memorable. She truly was meant to be a mom in life and as a teacher now I would give her a grade of an A+. We were close, but during and after college we had a new special bond. A bond that would make me need to talk to her daily. I didn't know what was around the corner, but what came next made us even closer. We had a tight bond, but when the sudden passing of my dad occurred we were lucky enough to have each other and be close by to be each other's support during the hardest time of our lives. She is one of the strongest people I know and I look up to her and I am so lucky to have a mom like her."

"My mom definitely deserves the spot light since she often doesn't put herself first. She is one of the most selfless people I know. She has gone through a lot and she is one of the nicest people I know. I truly would love for her to know this Mother's Day how wonderful she is and know from the bottom of my heart how much I love her. I hope one day to be as great as a mom that she was to me and my brother."
