Hillsborough Daughter Has Mom Of The Year
Hillsborough daughter shares her mom's amazing story on why she believes she is "Mom Of The Year."
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Last week we asked you to nominate a mother who you feel should be Hillsborough Patch's Mom Of The Year in honor of Mother's Day.
Daughter Charlotte Wagenaar of Hillsborough nominated her mother Maureen Wagenaar and shared her amazing story.
"What makes my mom, the mom of Hillsborough is because she has had two years of hell fighting two types of cancer (stage 3 colon/ stage 4 liver). She is staying as positive as possible and every day that goes by I don’t even wish this on my worst enemy! My mom is a fighter! I wish I could take it all away! We always say we wish we could give cancer, cancer and kill it! My mom always fought for me my whole life and through school to give me the best life any kid could ask for! So now I fight for my mom."
