Hillsborough Dukes Jr. Pee Wee Cheer Advances

The Hillsborough Dukes Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders took first place at the Eastern Region Championships advancing them to the Nationals!

The Hillsborough Dukes Are Going To DISNEY!!! Hillsborough’s own Jr. Pee Wee cheerleaders have placed 1st at the Pop Warner Eastern Region Championships. This victory has advanced them to compete at the Pop Warner National Championships held at ESPN Wide World of Sports on Monday December 8th, 2014.

This young group of athletes has worked very hard by putting in over 100 hours of practice starting back to August 1st. They have competed in two local competitions, placing first at both the Jersey Valley Conference Competition and Garden State Games both held at The Sun Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. This past weekend they hit the road and traveled to Albany, NY where they competed in Times Union Center and earned a first place victory over teams from Delaware and Maryland leaving the arena as Eastern Region Champions. Now their quest to take home the National title begins.
