Hillsborough Election Guide 2017: Where To Vote, Candidate List
Both local and county races are contested this year in Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Tuesday is Election Day. We have compiled a list of all of the candidates running on the local and county level and also a list of polling locations.
Locally there is a contested race in Hillsborough Township.
Township Committee:

In Hillsborough there are four candidates vying for two three-year seats on the township committee.
Republican incumbents Gloria McCauley and Doug Tomson are running for re-election. Challenging democrats include Jane M. Staats and Harrison J. Burke.

Board of Education:
For the Hillsborough/Millstone School District there are seven candidates vying for only three three-year seats.
Candidates include: Lorraine A. Soisson, Linda Fu-Fung, Ann Harris, Nicole Risher, Kiru Thangavelu, Judith C. Haas and Thomas J. Zobele.
Somerset County:
On the county level, both the freeholder and clerk races are contested.
There are four candidates vying for two three-year term seats for freeholder.
Republican Brian D. Levine of Somerset is the only incumbent running for re-election. Newcomers include republican Brian Gallagher of Somerville and democrats Alex Avellan of Basking Ridge and Shanel Robinson of Somerset.
There are two candidates vying for one five-year term as county clerk. Incumbent republican Brett A. Radi of Somerville is running for re-election against newcomer democrat Steve Peter of Somerville.
Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday.

- Districts 1, 8, 30: Neshanic Reformed Church: 715 Amwell Road
- Districts 9, 11, 20, 25, 27: Volunteer Fire Co. #3, 324 Woods Road
- Districts 2, 13, 14, 16, 19, 33: Mary, Mother of God Church,157 South Triangle Road
- Districts 4, 18, 22, 23, 31: Hillsborough High School, 466 Raider Blvd.
- Districts 5, 6, 7, 12, 17: Hillsborough Middle School, 260 Triangle Road
- Districts: 3, 10, 15, 21, 24, 26, 28, 29, 32: Municipal Building, 379 South Branch Road
