Hillsborough Fire Co3 Celebrates with 2019 Installation Dinner

The annual Installation dinner to install 2019 officers and recognize the accomplishments in 2018 was held on January 26, 2019

Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co 3 (Woods Road) has started its 69th year of volunteer service to the township of Hillsborough.

On Saturday, January 26, 2019, the fire company held is annual installation dinner at the firehouse on Woods Road. The installation dinner serves two purposes at the beginning of each year. First being it is the time the newly elected officers take their oath of office, which, this year was administered by Mayor Frank DelCore. Those officers for 2019 for the fire company are:

The second purpose the dinner serves is to recognize the accomplishments and milestones from the previous year.

Outgoing Chief Mike Murphy was presented a plaque from current Chief Dan Kazar for his past 3 years of service as Chief of the department.

Outgoing President Christian Fulmino was presented a plaque from current President Mark Brownlie for his past 2 years of service as President of the company

Sean Boland was presented a plaque for the Firefighter of the Year award for 2018 and Walt Johnson was presented a plaque for Member of the Year award for 2018.

The following members were recognized for their years of service in 2018:

Ron Campbell – 55 years

Mark Brownlie - 30 years

Rudy Harding – 30 years

Tim Coyle – 25 years

Christian Fulmino – 20 years

John Cauda – 20 years

Carmine Nuzzolo – 15 years

Walt Johnson 5 years

The Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Co 3 looks forward to serving the township in 2019.

We are always looking for new members to join the Fire Department (16 years old or older) or the Auxiliary. If you are interested please stop by the firehouse at 324 Woods Road on Monday nights at 7:30 pm.
