Hillsborough Freshman Field Hockey Team Fights Back
The girls have worked hard to better their game and the recent tie against Ridge shows it.

On Tuesday October 17, the Hillsborough Field Hockey team battled on their home turf against Ridge. Tying up the game, Juliet Dima scored the goal with an assist by Olivia Halverson. In overtime, the girls played with the required reduced number of players making it a game of seven versus seven and the score remained a tie. With only 11 total players on the team, they play every game with no subs and sometimes even below the 11 player requirement due to illnesses, injuries, etc. "We have had a strong season with several new players to field hockey and having only 11 players. Today our team played really well, focusing on passing and improving overall from losing to Ridge the first time around," said Coach Danielle Burk.
