Hillsborough Halloween Events For Kids And Dogs

A Children's Halloween Party and a Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Costume Contest are scheduled in Hillsborough.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township is gearing up for Halloween as they plan to host events for kids and dogs.

Children's Halloween Party - Oct. 27: The event will take place at the Hillsborough Municipal Building.

There will be a hayride going to the pumpkin patch for pumpkin picking from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

There will also be a haunted house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Children are encouraged to wear a costume. The fee is $5 per child, and pre-registration is required.

Howl-O-Ween Dog Parade and Costume Contest at the Dog Park - Oct. 29: The second annual Howl-O-Ween at the Ann Van Middlesworth Park Dog Park (570 Pleasant View Road) will feature a dog parade and costume contest.

Registration is free and begins at 8:30 am on Oct. 29. The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at the pavilion.

There will be vendors, prizes, and a costume contest for dogs.
