Hillsborough Howl-O-Ween Canceled Due To Expected Weather

The status of Hillsborough's Trunk or Treat is still undecided as of Friday afternoon.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough Township's Howl-O-Ween has been canceled due to the anticipated rainy weather on Saturday.

The township sent out an announcement on the cancelation on Friday afternoon. The status of the township's Trunk or Treat event is still undecided.

"For all individuals & groups registered, you will receive an email prior to Saturday morning at 9 a.m. regarding the event's status. This event required preregistration and is currently sold out," said the township.

A period of heavy rain is possible as early as this afternoon, spreading between 0.5 to 2 inches of rain across the state, with locally higher amounts of 2 to 3 inches possible, the service said.
