Hillsborough Launches First-Ever Farm Week This August

The weeklong celebration of local agriculture runs Aug. 23-29, with farm tours, tastings, and more.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — Hillsborough is celebrating its first-ever Farm Week this summer, a weeklong showcase of the township's local farms running Aug. 23-29.

The event is hosted by the Hillsborough Business Association. Local farmers are invited to participate by offering farm tours, pick-your-own produce, animal interactions, hayrides, corn mazes, farm stand sales, workshops, farm-to-table meals, live music, movie nights, and other activities.

Participating farms will receive digital promotion and marketing support, along with an official Hillsborough Farm Week participant sign.

To take part, farms must stay in good standing with township departments, submit a registration form on time, and provide farm information, photos and a logo. Participants are also asked to share their hours and event details, promote Farm Week online, and ensure a safe, welcoming experience for visitors.

Registration closes July 31. Farmers can register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or visiting hillsboroughnj.gov/hillsborough-harvest.
