Hillsborough Leases 3 School Buses
The board approved the lease at a cost that will not be more than about $264,000 at its Jan. 6 meeting.
HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The Hillsborough Board of Education will be leasing three 54-passenger school buses.
The board approved the lease at a cost that will not be more than about $264,000 at its Jan. 6 meeting. The purchase will be financed through a tax exempt, lease purchase financing, according to the resolution.
The lease will not go beyond five years.

The board looked for financing bids through the Hunterdon County Educational Services and on Dec. 5, 2019, received a bid from U.S. Bancorp Government Leasing and Finance, Inc. It "was the most advantageous bid to the Board," according to the resolution.
