Hillsborough Local Among 2 Arrested For DWI
Hillsborough Police also reported making arrests for shoplifting and hindering apprehension recently.

HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — A Hillsborough local was among two to be arrested for driving while intoxicated in the township, according to the police blotter.
Hillsborough Police blotter:
On Oct. 24: David Rew, 62, of Hillsborough was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle on Beekman Lane. He was issued additional summonses for careless driving, failure to maintain lane, driving while suspended and failing to provide vehicle documents. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Oct. 6: Eduardo Oracion Jr., 49, of Somerville was arrested for shoplifting from the Kohls Department Store located at 315 Rt. 206. He concealed merchandise valued at $232.04 and attempted to leave the store without paying for it. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.
On Oct. 11: Edwin Silva-Montesinos, 25, of New Brunswick was arrested for driving while intoxicated after being stopped in his vehicle in the parking lot of 415 Amwell Road. He was processed and released pending a court appearance.

On Oct. 15: Erik Granberg, 49, of Somerset was arrested for hindering apprehension after being stopped on Rt. 206. During the stop, he provided false information to the officer regarding his identity. Further investigation revealed that Granberg also had an outstanding warrant from the Somerset County Sheriff Department. He was processed and lodged in the Somerset County Jail.
