5 Arrested For DWI

Raritan Police report making 5 arrests for driving while intoxicated and 1 for drug possession, according to the police blotter.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Raritan Police arrested five people recently for driving while intoxicated.

On July 12: Erin Mahoney, 39, of Raritan, was charged with theft after she stole several outdoor items from a residence on Second Avenue. Officer Kathleen Sausa investigated the incident.

On July 13 at 6:41 p.m.: John Randazzo, 43, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI after he struck a parked vehicle in the parking lot of the Golden Wok on Route 206. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated the incident.

On July 14 at 2:28 a.m.: Al Cahuas, 23, of Bridgewater, was arrested for DWI after falling asleep at the wheel of his vehicle at the intersection of Route 206 and Bell Avenue. Officer Christopher Hirsch investigated the incident.

On July 17 at 1:02 a.m.: Joshua Maldonado, 25, of Raritan, was arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance following a motor vehicle stop on West Somerset Street. Officer Nicholas DePiano investigated the incident.

On July 19 at 11:12 a.m.: David Fritzinger, 59, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on First Ave. Officer Evan Vacchiano investigated the incident.

On July 21 at 3:16 a.m.: Ioannis Tsampis, 33, of Linden, was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on Johnson Drive. Officer Robert Sinopoli investigated the incident.

On July 24 at 12:16 a.m.: Oscar Sanchez-Martinez, 37, of Raritan, was arrested for DWI following a motor vehicle stop on West Somerset Street. Officer Damien Chromowsky investigated the incident.

During the same time, 13 additional persons were arrested on active warrants or domestic violence
offenses.
