HILLSBOROUGH, NJ — The idea of digital currency can be confusing and scary for some. That’s where KryptaPurchase comes in.

Hillsborough native and Montgomery High School graduate Rohith Pasula’s vision is to make buying Cryptocurrency easy and more accessible by breaking the barrier of entry to the world of digital currencies.

Since the creation of Bitcoin in 2009, the popularity of Cryptocurrency — virtual currency designed to work as a medium of exchange — has steadily been on the rise. Pasula is tapping into this modern and opportunity rich industry to make Cryptocurrency investments easy, accessible, and global.

The idea for Pasula’s Hillsborough-based company, KryptaPurchase, began while studying at Syracuse University.

Currently a freshman, Pasula is majoring in Information Management and Technology. He has always been immersed in the business world as his father ran his own consulting company in Hillsborough.

“I always wanted to create something new and make something better for the future,” Pasula said. “I wanted to think of the next big thing. So I thought about simplifying the digital purchasing process.”

Currently when buying digital currency everything is stored online. What makes KryptaPurchase different is customers can purchase digital currency that will be given to them on a physical flashdrive.

“It helps build a trust for generations that came before the Millenials,” Pasula said.

Additionally the flash drive wallet is highly encrypted to prevent hacking and is the same used by many major banks.

KryptaPurchase is also completing a mobile application set to release soon. This application will be featured on Apple’s IOS store and the Google Play store. It holds personalized accounts that can track buyers’ coins and offer real time updates on how each performs. This new technology allows for increased convenience and ease when following investments and planning future trades.
