Hillsborough Local Ran From Police, Arrested In Drainage Ditch
Bridgewater Police also reported making arrests for DWI, drug possession, shoplifting and obstruction of justice recently.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Hillsborough local was arrested for obstruction fleeing on foot, while at the Bridgewater Commons Mall, police report.
On Jan. 6 at 7 p.m.: Matthew D Suber, 28, from Hillsborough was a suspect in a theft in another jurisdiction, Bridgewater Police said.

Bridgewater Officers found him at the Bridgewater Commons Mall where they told Suber to stop so they could speak with him. He disregarded their orders and fled on foot, police report.
Suber fled into a drainage ditch and was apprehended by patrol. He was released on a summons with a pending court date, police report.

On Jan. 6 at 4:39 p.m.: Jonathan D. Rivero, 29 from Harmony was arrested for shoplifting at Costco, located at the Bridgewater Promenade. Items taken were baby formula, valued at $125.97.Rivero was processed for the shoplifting arrest. During processing Rivero was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was additionally charged with obstruction of justice. He was lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a future court appearance.
On Jan. 11 at 11:54 p.m.: Milan C. Patel, 39, of Branchburg was arrested for DWI after patrol observed motor vehicle violations by Patel on Route 202/206 south. Upon being arrested for DWI, Patel was issued the following motor vehicle summonses: DWI, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released pending a future court date.

On Jan. 8 at 1:28 p.m.: Joseph G. Ridges, 23, of Staten Island, New York was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Commons Way. Ridges was a front seat passenger in the vehicle. A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Ridges was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
On Jan. 3 at 6:20 p.m.: Zachary T. Adams, 28, of Martinsville was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on US 202/206 south. A probable cause search of the vehicle led to the discovery of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Adams was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also issued motor vehicle summonses for illegal use of a cell phone, drivers license suspended and possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS) in a motor vehicle. He was released on a summons pending a future court date.
On Jan. 8 at 2:19 a.m.: Yasmine Miranda, 22, from Bound Brook was arrested for disorderly conduct at the Hilton Garden Inn, located on Promenade Blvd. Miranda pulled the fire alarm in an attempt to get assistance at the front desk. While attempting to arrest her, she resisted arrest and was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. After being processed for the above listed charges, Miranda was released on a summons with a pending court date.
