Hillsborough Man Arrested For Heroin, Cocaine In Basking Ridge

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — A total of four people were arrested for drugs in Basking Ridge including a Bridgewater man and Hillsborough man, Bernards Township Police report.

Bernards Township Police Blotter:

(Shanita Daniels, 23, of New Brunswick)

On July 5 at 9 p.m.: Bernards Township Police investigated a report of theft of checks from a Basking Ridge residence. A detective determined Shanita Daniels, 23, of New Brunswick stole and forged the checks and participated in their fraudulent cashing. Daniels was arrested and charged with Theft and Forgery.

(George G. Sara, 38, of Bordentown)

On June 4 at 8:30 a.m.: Bernards Township Police Sgt. Kevin Little stopped a vehicle on S. Maple Avenue for multiple motor vehicle violations. Heroin and Methamphetamine was seized from the vehicle. George G. Sara, 38, of Bordentown was charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance(CDS).

(Marilyn L. Bridgeforth, 33, of Newark)

On June 4 at 8:30 a.m.: Bernards Township Police Sgt. Kevin Little stopped a vehicle for multiple motor vehicle violations on S. Maple Avenue. Heroin and Methamphetamine was seized from the vehicle. Marilyn L. Bridgeforth, 33, of Newark was charged with possession of CDS.

(Saveiro Macaro, 36, of Hillsborough)

On June 18 at 12:54 p.m.: Bernards Township Police Officer Chris Baxter stopped a vehicle for several motor vehicle violations on Martinsville Road. Upon further investigation, Heroin and Cocaine was seized from the vehicle. Saveiro Macaro, 36, of Hillsborough was charged with possession of CDS.

On June 18 at 12:54 p.m.: Bernards Township Police Chris Officer Baxter stopped a vehicle for several motor vehicle violations on Martinsville Road. Upon further investigation, Heroin and Cocaine was seized from the vehicle. Mark Dalessio, 46, of Bridgewater was charged with possession of CDS.
