Hillsborough Man Arrested For Heroin In Manville: Police
A Manville man was also attacked by 3 men and possibly stabbed in a separate incident, borough police report.

MANVILLE, NJ — A Hillsborough man was arrested for drug possession on Aug. 27 at 12:02 p.m. after patrols responded to the area of North 5th Avenue in Manville on the report of a suspicious motor vehicle, Manville Police report.
Evan Stockwell, 36, of Hillsborough was arrested for possession of suspected heroin and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and also an outstanding child support warrant, police report.
He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.

On Aug. 14 at 4:01 p.m.: Patrols respond to the area of South Main Street where the business owner reported a scam phone call from someone claiming to be from PSE&G and stating that they were going to arrive at his business to collect money. The business owner was advised it was a scam.
On Aug. 14 at 4:29 p.m.: Patrols respond to the area of South 14th Avenue and speak with a resident who reported receiving a suspicious phone call requesting personal information. The resident was advised it was a scam.
On Aug. 17 at 4:38 p.m.: Christian Rojas, 34, of Manville arrives at headquarters to pay an outstanding warrant. He was processed and released.
On Aug. 18 at 3:29 p.m.: Patrols respond to the area of South 19th Avenue and speak with a resident who reported that his Bank of America Mastercard was used to make various purchases from CarID.com. The resident was advised it was determined to be fraud. Investigation to continue.
On Aug. 18 at 11:40 p.m.: As a result of a motor vehicle stop, Patrols subsequently arrest Joshua Tryde, 28, of Staten Island, New York for outstanding warrants. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and transported to the Somerset County Jail.
On Aug. 21 at 1:46 p.m.: Following an investigation, Patrols subsequently arrest Rafal Wasilanok, 31, of Manville for an outstanding Somerset County Prosecutor's Office warrant for burglary. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed and transported to the Somerset County Jail.
On Aug. 21 at 7:23 p.m.: Patrols respond to the Clinton Police Department and transport Matthew Ciuksza to the Someret County Jail in lieu of and outstanding Manville warrant.
On Aug. 22 at 1 p.m.: Patrols respond to the area of North Main Street on the report of a theft. The employee of the business reported that a male wearing a white tee shirt and green hat stole an air conditioning condenser and fled into the woods. Patrols check the area and the accused was gone on arrival. Investigation to continue.
On Aug. 22 at 1:33 p.m.: Patrols respond to the Bridgewater Police Department and transport Genine Delviscovo, 41, to the Somerset County Jail for an outstanding Manville warrant.
On Aug. 23 at 2:25 a.m.: A Manville resident reported being assaulted by three men on in the area of South 12th Avenue. The men reportedly fled the scene. The resident refused treatment for possible stab wounds. The investigation continues.
On Aug. 23 at 9:49 p.m.: As a result of a motor vehicle stop, Patrols subsequently arrest Maria Elameto, 68, of Bridgewater for an outstanding warrant. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed and transported to the Somerset County Jail in lieu of bail.
On Aug. 25 at 2:24 p.m.: Patrols respond to Walmart on the report of a shoplifter. Patrols subsequently arrest Elizabeth Vadas, 29, of Somerville for shoplifting. She was transported to police headquarters where she was processed, charged and released.
On Aug. 25 at 10:40 p.m.: Patrols respond to the area of South 19th Avenue and while checking on a parked vehicle, Patrols subsequently arrest Kathia Nieves, 20, for underage possession of alcohol. Also arrested was Anthony Benko-Lopez, 18, for possession of controlled dangerous substance. Both were transported to police headquarters where they were processed, charged and released.
On Aug. 26 at 10:56 p.m.: Patrols respond to the area of Brooks Boulevard on the report of a suspicious person. Patrols subsequently arrest Dylan Panatero, 34, for possession of drug paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants. He was transported to police headquarters where he was processed, charged and released.
